Join us for a 13km walk on The Loop Trail though St. Marys.  The St. Marys Stonetown Trails brochure describes it as a wood chips/grass/dirt path/paved trail that runs past many historic sites and natural areas.  Points of interest include: the home of former Prime Minister Arthur Meighen, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum and the St. Marys Quarry.

It follows the Thames River for a bit, crosses over it twice and also crosses Trout Creek.  The trail follows mostly streets, but also goes into Sparling Bush.

The hike starts at the Tennis Courts in St. Marys (where our TVT ends on Water St S) for 9am, so meet us there for 8:45 for the trail talk and to sign the group waiver.

If you would like to join the car pool option, then meet at Home Depot Fanshawe/Adelaide at 8:15 latest.  Park just north of the TD/CT.

Bring:  Water, snack, confortable shoes for the terrain.  Bring icers if the weather calls for ice.

Hike Leaders:  Dorothy Lamond and Janine Gray 519-697-0089

Please use the “Can’t Go” option if you need to cancel after registering.
