Meet time:  9:15 am for waiver, hike departing 9:30 am

Pace: Moderate – dress for up to 17 photo stops!

Meet location – Pottersburg Off leash dog park (Hamilton and Gore Rd)

Info:  Starting in 2007, 25 tree trunks along Hamilton Rd and area have been artistically carved by chainsaws and intricately detailed with chisels, to create an artistic walk across our city.  6 artists consisting of 4 men and 2 women have created these masterpieces for London. They have hailed from as far away from South Africa, and closer from British Columbia, New Brunswick and Ontario (Ingersoll and London).

This is an exploratory walk beginning at Pottersburg off leash dog park and proceeding to 1109 Hamilton Rd for the 1st of 17 tree carvings, with the last carving of the day at 1 Hamilton Rd.   We will stop for a snack on the way back to our vehicles at Pottersburg dog park. Late lunch may follow at Scottish Isle Cafe on Hamilton Rd by dog park.  Estimated total distance 14 kms.

Leader:  Marci Kosac, 519 694 0021
