Road Trip to Clinton!

Join us on a road trip to enjoy 2 lovely hikes near Clinton:  Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area and the Lobb Trail.  Our neighbour Tracy H from Avon recommeded Hullett, so we couldn’t resist exploring it.  And we were glad we did!

Hike:  We’ve put the two trails together to get 15km and make the drive worthwhile.  The trails are quiet, wooded, with some meadow, and Lobb is down by the Maitland River.  Any hills are infrequent and gentle at Hullett, and there was one longer hill at Lobb.  It is a short 10 min drive between the two trails.

Parking:  80602 Wildlife Line, Clinton for the first hike at Hullett

We have planned out two loops to total 15km, so we can carpool without needing to car shuttle during the hikes.   Details will be updated closer to the hike date on meeting locally to carpool.

Carpool Option:  Those wanting to carpool from London, please meet at the north side of the TD bank, at the Fanshawe and Adelaide Home Depot/Sobeys for 7:50 latest to leave by 7:55am sharp.

There is also an option to drive separately and only hike one of the trails (each about 7.5km)  Email janinegray1@gmail.com if this interests you.

Bring:  Poles, good tread boots, snack/lunch.  Icers depending on weather conditions.  Wear bright colours!
