Lambton Shores Nature Trails – Trails 1 & 2

Hike the 7 Lambton Shores Nature Trails in 3 days of hiking…
Completion of all 7 hikes, and answering the Lambton Shores Nature Trails Trivia questions correctly allows you to mail in for a free badge (while quantities last).
Hike #1 Ausable River Cut CA
Hike #2 Lambton County Heritage Forest

Today we will hike the first 2 trails:  The Ausable River Cut Conservation Area is considered an easy/moderate trail of 4km length.

We will then hike a futher 8km on the Lambton County Heritage Forest Trail, which is considered an easy/difficult trail.

The address is 1455 Fanshawe Pk W London.  We are leaving at 8:15 latest.  Please email janinegray1@gmail.com whether you are joining the carpool or not by Sunday night. 

Meet:  Otherwise, please arrive 15 mins early to sign the group TVTA waiver at the trailhead.

43°13’13.9”N, 81°52’00.5”W  (note the address is Thedford, but it is actually closer to Port Franks)

After the first hike, we will drive 4 min to: 9997 Port Franks Road, Port Franks Community Centre

Bring your water, good tread hikers and dress appropriately for the weather.  Check back the morning of the hike in case of weather updates.
